My father named me Rose after my grandmother on my mothers side. The only nickname I have is a family nickname; they call me sissy. My family calls me sissy because im the only girl out of all my siblings and cousins. My last name is of Welsh origin and my first name is of English origin. My last name has never been changed. The only meaning there is of rose is a flower but a rose is a flower known not only for its exceptional beauty and fragrence, but also an enduring symbol of love.
