When I was volenteering at My Sisters Place as a food prep and server I had to learn a lot of the aspects of teamwork. Before I started volenteering there I really didnt have much experience working with other people. It didnt take me very long to fit in and figure out what to do.
Learning teamwork has helped me threw a lot since then. I use teamwork effectively in school and at any job I have worked at. After I learned how to do teamwork from the volenteering Ive been praised many times for how good I am at teamwork. I aquired a leadership trait from teamwork also.

Pediatric Nursing SR4
When I graduate from college and have my degree I plan to work as a pediatric nurse. The purpose of this type of work is to help children that have some kind of health issue. The help can very from just identifying the problem and telling the parent what to do to having the child be an inpatient and trating him or her yourself. Many people benefit from this type of work. Children most of all because thats who im working with. Parents also benefit from this too. When a child is sick the parents usual encounter some form of stress and/or worry. Treating the child will releave some of that stress and worry. It also benefits me as a person because I love kids and dont like to see them in pain or not feeling well.
Noone in particular inspired me to become a pediatric nurse. What inspired me to be a peditric nurse is experiencing having children around me from when iuse to babit and teach preschool. When I think of children I think of happiness, bright colors, simple things, nonjugmental, and curiosity, A lot of times when kids are sick or have health problem there down and dont want to do much, that kills me. I want to be able to create and put back smiles on childrens faces.

My Transition.
Tinto believes transition comes either during or after separation but before full adaptation. Many peoples experiences lead them to early failure but others lead them to a successful transitional experience. Tinto says transition is based on lifestyle and past experience. Anticipatory socialization is what usually lessens the stress of transitioning from high school to college.
Anticipatory socialization is what is helping me in my transition stage. I am currently still enrolled as a high school student but I am also in a parallel enrollment program at Dundalk community college(CCBC). When I enrolled in the program I had no clue what I was getting into. High school made it seem like the transition from high school to college would be easy. In all reality, it wad stressful and hard to overcome. Even though it was hard, the early college classes are what is going to help me easily transition from high school to being a fulltime college student. The program is helping me behavioral wise, get use to college. The transition also is based on my lifestyle at home and the people around me. Everyone on my mother side of the family went straight into a four year college. They always talked to me about how I am going to have to make college my first priority as soon a I enroll because it will be difficult. They have gone through applications with me and explained how size is a major issue.
Through the parallel enrollment program and my families precautions, my transition from high school to being a full time college student will be less stressful and I will over all be successful with my transition.

My transition from CCBC Dundalk to Towson Univeristy will be much easier than it would of been if i transitioned right from Dundalk High School. Collegeboard.com says that Towson is a public school and has 17,529 undergraduates. Transfering from CCBC to Towson will be much easier because I have experience the structure of not having a structured everyday class routine. I plan to live on campus which will help me transition a little bit better then travelling to college everyday from home. Ill be removing myself from the every day structure of living with my family and depending on them to help with everything. It will make me more independent.

Furby !
Furby was one of my favorite toys when I was younger . This commercial was my favorite and I actually bought my Furby after I saw this. Everyone I knew had a Furby. This toy is marketed to children and adults. It portrays the image of having more friends and never being lonely with this toy. Not only will it make you have friends because they will want to play with it too, but it can be your friend whenever you need it.
This commercial applies to multipue appeals. One appeal is thta you'll be held in high esteem by others because everyone will want what you have. Another appeal is that youll have deep satisfaction because you will always have someone/something to talk to and to listen. Also, it can also have an effect of facing social isolation if you dont have one. It shows in the video that all the little girls friends are happy and sitting around with her while she has the firby, so if she didnt have it maybe her friends wouldnt e coming around.
The marketers want children to believe that you can always be happy with this Kurby, but in all reality when you get the toy it doesnt always have the nicest things to say. The firby toy would sometimes not even respond when you were talking to it, say it was sleepy, or say it doesnt want to talk.

Me ( :
My name is Rose Powell. I absolutely love my name. I havent met many people around my age with the same name. When I was born in 1994 my name was ranked #339 and the percent used was .040. My father named me Rose after my grandmother on my mothers side. The only nickname I have is a family nickname; they call me sissy. My family calls me sissy because im the only girl out of all my siblings and cousins. My last name is of Welsh origin and my first name is of English origin. My last name has never been changed. The only meaning there is of rose is a flower but a rose is a flower known not only for its exceptional beauty and fragrence, but also an enduring symbol of love.
